Line Training for Freedivers
The objectives of line training in freediving revolve around improving technique, enhancing safety, progressing in depth, and developing mental preparedness for a successful and rewarding diving experience.
Objectives:
- Develop Equalization Skills: Line training helps freedivers improve their ability to equalize their ears and sinuses, which is crucial for diving safely and comfortably at depth.
- Enhance Body Positioning: Line training allows freedivers to work on achieving and maintaining proper body posture during a dive, which improves movement efficiency and reduces energy consumption.
- Refine Finning Technique: Freedivers can use line training to perfect their finning technique, which optimizes propulsion and minimizes drag in the water.
- Increase Relaxation and Conservation of Energy: Practicing on a line helps freedivers learn to relax and conserve energy during a dive, which is essential for prolonging dive time and increasing overall efficiency.
- Build Confidence and Mental Resilience: Line training allows freedivers to develop mental discipline, focus, and confidence in their abilities, enabling them to handle the psychological challenges associated with deep diving.
We also offer an option to upgrade this class with Molchanovs Discover Freediving Experience certification card as an add-on, subject for an additional but discounted fee as a loyalty reward for enrolling in our classes.
Prerequisite: Completed our Discover Freediving class.

Coach Rogemar is a Molchanovs Certified Freediving Instructor (Wave 2i) who transformed from a non-swimmer to a passionate advocate for underwater exploration. In January 2018, he embarked on the journey of learning freediving to conquer his fear and uncover a new life skill, ultimately opening up a world of adventure.
Having successfully embraced freediving, his mission shifted to sharing his passion and skills with others, enabling them to appreciate the underwater wonders and instilling a sense of responsibility for its preservation. With a track record of coaching over 500 students, many of whom were non-swimmers, since 2019, Rogemar has tailored a program specifically designed for individuals with little to no swimming experience.
